ዶ/ር ደጀኔ አለማየሁ ላቀው የሒሳብ ባለሙያ ናቸው። ለረጅም አመታት ኢትዮጵያ ዉስጥ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሒሳብ ትምህርት ክፍል መምህር ሆነው ያገለገሉ ሲሆኑ: አሁንም እዚህ አሜሪካ ውስጥ በተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲወች ሒሳብን በማስተማርና ምርምር በማድረግ የሚታወቁ ምሁር ናቸው። አሁን በቨርጂኒያ ሀገረ ግዛት በሚገኘው ሐምተን (Hampton University) ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሙሉ መምህር ሆነው ሒሳብን ያስተምራሉ ፤ ምርምርም ያካሂዳሉ።

Research areas: Clifford analysis, partial/ordinary differential equations, functional analysis and operator theory.

Clifford analysis: The study of the Dirac and Dirac like operators and Clifford valued functions that are annihilated by such operators.

Null solutions of these operators are called monogenic or Clifford analytic functions.

The Dirac operator is an analogue to the usual Cauchy-Riemann operator of complex analysis whose null solutions give rise to what is called theory of functions of one complex variable.

Clifford analysis therefore extends the one-dimensional complex function theory to higher dimensions - hyper complex function theory.

Education and Professional Experiences:

Dr. Dejenie is originally from Ethiopia with extensive experience of teaching mathematics and doing research that spans over twenty-six years. He received his undergraduate and graduate studies in Mathematics at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia and Doctoral Degree at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA. He was a lecturer of mathematics in Ethiopia at Addis Ababa University and came to the United States of America in 1996 to pursue his doctoral studies at University of Arkansas - Fayetteville and received his Ph.D. degree in 2000 with dissertation titled "Elliptic BVPs, Cl{0,n}-Complete Function Systems and the Clifford π- Operator" under the supervision of professor John Ryan, out of which three different articles extracted and published in different peer review journals. Up on completion of his PhD, he joined and worked at the University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff, one of the universities of the University of Arkansas system with a tenure-track, assistant professor rank for six years. Then moved to Virginia and served at the rank of assistant professor of mathematics at Virginia State University from 1996-1998 and with a rank of associate professor of mathematics and interim chair of the mathematics department at Virginia Union University from 2008-2010 and Stratford University until 2019. Currently an assistant professor and graduate program director at Hampton University, Virginia.

- Participated in sectional and joint Mathematics meetings organized by both the American Mathematical Society (AMS) and the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and present results.

- Participated and presented talks in weekly departmental seminars and colloquiums.

- Promote mathematics, mathematics learning and its immense applications, not only to the sciences but to society at large and popularize it through publications and imagery works of mathematical arts and aesthetics. [5] Norm estimates of solutions to first and second order elliptic BVPs of the Dirac operator D = ∑e_{j}∂x_{j} which are assumed to be in some Sobolev spaces, and their traces be in certain Slobodeckji spaces.

[6] Mollifies in W^{k,p}(Ω,Cl_{n}) which is the second part of my work on mollifiers in the Bergman space A²(Ω,Cl_{n}) = kerD∩ℒ²(Ω,Cl_{n}).

On Economic Developments:


A true measure of strength and capability of any structure is when the structure performs exactly what we intend and aspire it to perform by itself.

Therefore, an economic development of a certain society is measured through a real observed and quantified progress the economic system displays in addressing the fiscal issues of that particular society so that members of that society solve their problems fairly and make a better living of a higher standard of health, wealth and longevity.

The strength, growth and thereby stability of such a financial system should therefore be certified as developed if it passes tests of behaviors and characters of being developed, from its own resources and by its own means, aside from the economic aid packages provided from outside source.

In this regard, economic aids provided to developing countries should be looked at from the perspective of capacity building to enable them to perform well by themselves and stand upright and eventual independent.

From the perspective of mathematics, such outside aids have names which I have mentioned in my quote below. One can also write mathematical models to describe such systems to study and predict their behaviors.
