possible suggested Amharic equivalents

I don't know if there are established standard equivalents for these biology terms, but if not, these might be closest in meaning to the root words in Latin and Greek. Any suggestions welcome! ፈቃደ (ውይይት) 21:29, 29 ጁላይ 2008 (UTC)

• Taxonomy [< Greek taxis፣ ሥራዐት + nomos፣ ስም]

= ሥራዐተ ሕይወት

• Regnum = መንግሥት (ሥነ ሕይወት) - (እንስሳ፣ አትክልት፣ እንጉዳይ)
• Phylum = ስብሰባ (ሥነ ሕይወት)
• Classis = መደብ (ሥነ ሕይወት)
• Ordo = ክፍል (ሥነ ሕይወት)
• Familia = ቤተሠብ (ሥነ ሕይወት)
• Genus = ወገን (ሥነ ሕይወት)
• Species = አይነት (ሥነ ሕይወት)

binomial = [Greek bi- ሁለት + ስም፣ 'ባለ 2 ክፍል ስም'፣ 'ድርብ ስም'፣] = የሥነ ሕይወት አጠራር (ልምሳሌ Panthera leo)፤ ወይም የሳይንስ አጠራር ?

binomial authority = አጠራሩን የወስነው ሊቅ
