- Hi! Thanks for your question! I found an answer for you at this site where it says:
"እአአ በመጋቢት ወር 1965 ዓም የተቋቋመው የዶቸ ቤለ የአማርኛ ክፍል አገልግሎት ኪጋሊ ርዋንዳ ላይ ባለው አቀባባይ ማዕከል አሠራጭነት በአጭር የሞገድ መሥመር ለአፍሪቃ፡ በተለይም ለኢትዮጵያ የመራጃ አገልግሎት በመስጠት ላይ ይገኛል።"
That means: "The Deutsche Welle Amharic Service section, established in March, 1965 (European Calendar), is found on the shortwave at the broadcast center in Kigali Rwanda giving an information service for Africa and especially Ethiopia."
