@font-face from third party host

Barging in here making unannounced changes to our website like that without discussion is patronizing, colonialist attitude, and sabotage. Sorry if you felt sabotaged but I did not make the rules, and users coming to visit wikis by Wikimedia have agreed a certain amount of privacy disclosure. It is a violation of high order to download fonts hosted by a third-party on all pages for all users, even anonymous users that did in fact not agree to share their navigating history and computer details^[1] with an untrusted third party (free.fr in this case).

As I am not authorized to act as staff member and not a community member on this wiki, I will not revert the revert that reverted this edit ("Disabled per violation of foundation privacy policy"), but please expect that a staff member will rever this soon. Again, I didn't make the rules, but I do respect our readers and they should be able to rely on the privacy policy that is linked from the bottom of every page.

[1]: You may or may not know this, but when using an internet browser (such as Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.) the browser sends information about your computer to all domains that it downloads data from. This information is private.

I have uploaded the .eot file locally, and changed Common.css to link to the local file instead. This way your fonts continue to work, but you're no longer leaking your user's browsing patterns to free.fr --Catrope 21:09, 1 ፌብሩዌሪ 2012 (UTC)
